As I mentioned, if you rebuild any car, it usually must be inspected by the police authority or state patrol. However, it comes back on for up to 15 or 30 seconds, then shuts off again. I purchased a small circuit off Ebay, from I believe Poland (?) that does turn off the airbag light after a few seconds. Resetting in INPA brings up this error every time even though I am pretty sure i did a fine job joining up the split circuit paths one to another on the cracked flexible printed circuit board. I used cold solder silver epoxy to rejoin the circuit paths but perhaps with zero luck. Here is a photo of what that pesky flexible sensor looks like. It kicks it off after 6 seconds and then allows the airbag light to come back on after 2 seconds, where it remains on for another 30 seconds and then turns off for the duration of the drive. The imported bypass circuit from Poland that i installed does eventually turn the airbag light off, but not properly. My google translate camera was insinuating that a bag had deployed but no airbags ever did. I tried the bypass trick but it was not good enough for the state Patrol who will not license my car after it was wrecked. Hey gents - can you help me with this code? I ripped apart my passenger seat to get to the sensor, and this is what I found.
